What's the difference between a rioter, a freedom fighter and a terrorist?

It all depends upon your point of view. Clearly a group who have been severly disadvantaged, abused and repressed by an unresponsive and dictatorial regime, beaten up and even killed by the police - who subsequently take up arms to fight their oppressor - must be freedom fighters! Not if they damage property apparently.

Of course our wonderful politicians blame hooliganism, out of area troublemakers, one-parent families, etc, etc, etc. It has nothing to do with a disenfranchised youth with no prospects! They should all knuckle down and work for a living. Trouble with this propaganda is that there is no work. Even if you are a graduate (with a hell of a debt) you stand in line at the job centre just like everyone else.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not condoning the looting, arson and mayhem we have seen recently. My gripe is with government mouthpieces who blame everyone else but themselves.

This level of unrest is inevitable when we have a growing underclass of young people with no stake in society. High population density doesn't help either.

Mr C should get himself a white stick - or better still find a one-eyed man.
