Where are FitzUrse, Tracey, Morville and le Breton when you need them?
Still plagued by drug-fueled youths - driving their mini-bikes around at all hours, skipping school, hurling things at my house. And where are the police when this is happening? Where do you think?
Seems to me the late Michael Winner might have had the answer. Charles Bronson's vigilante came into being because of the authorities' inability to deal with certain criminal elements. We now face a similar situation with vermin high on drugs. How long will it be before some victimised citizen snaps and takes direct action?
Of course the police would soon hunt down such a person. They can't do anything themselves but they certainly don't want anybody else muscling into their act.
