Integrating Gallery2 to Wordpress (Chinese Version)
今天收到 mimik 的留言問到如何將 gallery2 整合到 wordpress 內。正想回答的時候發現自己對這個工序也快忘了，為了回應問者和給自己一個備忘，便從新寫一篇。
原作者英文版教學 (English Instruction)：WPG2 Plug-in Installation
插件下載：WPG2 1.0
下載插件後將其放置到以下目錄：

設定方面並無想像中困難，在 wordpress admin 的 options page 裡找到 gallery2 的選項，分別有：
1. Embedded Paths
i) Relative Gallery2 Path – 這是跟 wp-gallery2.php 的相對路徑，也是 gallery2 安裝路徑，你果你將 gallery2 安裝在 wordpress 目錄內，只需填 “gallery2/” 即可。
ii) Embed Gallery2 Page Name – 這是插件頁的名稱，如果沒有改變過插件檔名稱的話，便填上 wp-gallery2.php.
iii) Path from web document root – wp-gallery2.php 的位置，先在第五項將 Document Root Path 好，如果 wp-gallery2.php 是安裝在 wordpress 目錄內的話，只需填 “/” 即可。
iv) Gallery Error Redirect – 照字面解釋就是當 gallery2 出錯自動轉頁，通常是 blog 的主頁。
v) Document Root Path – wordpress 安裝的完整路徑，例如：
/home/user/domain/worpress/
視乎你 wordpress 位置而定。
vi) Embedded Path Prefix – 留空即可。
2. Validate Settings
將以上項目設置好便到這裡檢查路徑是否正確，沒有錯誤的話即代表完成。
作者本身還有一個 support forum, 若有問題的話可以到 這裡 查詢。

minik 你現在用的 gallery2 是那一個版本? 在 gallery2 套件中會有細分為 Typical, Full, Minimal, Developer 四個版本, 要使用 WGP2 插件必須 full 或 Typical 版本才可運作。

我下載了gallery2的Full版本,那請問這個版本直接放在wordpress底下嗎?

喔!謝謝我已經成功安裝了gallery2了,現在問題是如何將gallery2的版面與WP結合?就像你的一樣而不是開另外一個頁面

mimik, 想信你已經成功用到 WPG2 這插件吧？ WPG2 是利用 wp-gallery2.php 來叫出 gallery2 的，如我的

我的 gallery 看似像 wordpress 的一頁, 是因為用上了 WPG2 作者提供的 “Wordpress Theme” :
Wordpress Theme
再略加修改而成的，而先決條件是 wordpress 本身是用 default theme, 那它們便會同時用上同個 header & footer.

你的意思是一定要用defaule theme,用別的不行?
如果用別的tje,e可以請問要在哪些地方做修正?

也不一定要用到 default theme 的, gallery2 的 “wordpress theme” 的效果就是什麼也沒有一樣，變得簡單化，較為與 default theme 匹配，若你使用其他 theme 的話，可以先到作都的 forum 看看有沒有與你 wordpress 合襯的 theme:
