Cozy inside!

Sunday evening...waiting on a major snow storm to begin..I heard that we are in for 30 to 40 cm's!!!!
We are about to settle in and watch a movie as a family.
Yesterday we went to look at a horse. We have been quietly shopping for a reliable horse for me to ride.
I need something quiet...calm, bombproof! (so they say in the horse world)
Peter & I took turns riding Dozer. (that's his name
(here he is with his previous mommy)

He was great! My legs (& butt) are sore today. Weird, I was only on him for a short bit.
Dozer is a 15 year old Belgian/Quarterhorse Gelding. He measures 15 hands...nice big stalky horse.
Beautiful friendly face..and gentle as can be.
SO...Dozer will arrive here on Friday evening, weather permitting!

I am kinda thinking that we are in for a couple of snow days..if we get all the snow that has been forcast!
On the new lifestyle front. I know have have lost inches...and possibly around 15 lbs... Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to go for a walk in about 4 days. Too much going on here. ..also am having a mild mood swing...pass the chocolate! (kidding! I am being a good girl!)
As soon as I can...I'll be out there! On a funny note. I think I have made friends with all the neighbourhood dogs. Where I live almost everyone has a dog. I now carry doggy cookies in my pockets! I made bestest friends with a gorgeous black lab up the road. That's it for now...
Until next time, God Bless!

Have a great time!
Dozer is a beautiful horse!

On the weather front, our snow has turned to rain, not quite freezing, but I imagine it will be as the night falls. I'd rather have snow. Those roads are going to be treacherous tomorrow morning.

and congratulations for the new horse! It looks beautiful.
Did I read right: snow? a lot of snow?
Poor Cheryl...
I wish, I could send you a few sunrays (but here it is cold and rainy).
Nevertheless: have a nice day!

Thanks Sandy! We started by getting freezing pellets...it wasn't rain...then the snow. The kids are all home today. Already the 3rd snow day and it is just the beginning of December.
Thank you Elke!
A lot of snow! Yes. ...I would really love some sun..that would be great!

We had a little snow last week whilst I was out visiting my sister, but it hardly had time to settle.
Nice while it lasted though. I think I envy you again...
