From One Chick to Another..

Where under His Wings I find refuge.

Tagged! (I love u- Sarah!! ;) )

I was tagged by Sarah. :left:
You all know how much I adore being tagged!

1. Link to who tagged you.
2. Post the rules.
3. Name 5 people (living or dead) that you'd like to see at one of your dinner parties.
Name your favorite artist/sculptor.
Name 2 things you would like to change about yourself.
Name 2 things you like about yourself.
Name 2 things you are looking forward to in the future.
4. Tag five people to do the same.

5 People- Living or Dead that I would like to see at one of my dinner parties....
1. Sounds slightly odd I know...but Jesus...in the flesh.
2. Another biblical icon... David. (I would love to pick his brain)
3. A friend from Opera---we have had some correspondence over the last couple of years and I would love to meet her in person. She lives on the west coast of the US.

I have no desire to dig up any dead relatives for this dinner...

4. Smith Wigglesworth--he is now deceased..but I have been studying a lot of his writings. (Christian author) He would preach and he would be used to lay hands on the sick and see them recover. Limbs that were missing would grow back...people that were dead would come back to life...I would LOVE to pick his brain.
5. My old high school music teacher.... She is definitely still alive and now in BC...but I have always looked up to her and would love to see how she's doing.

Wow...interesting dinner party! :D
****Oops! I forgot the favorite artist...
I would have to say it is my daughter---she is super talented! (drawing & painting) ****
2 Things I would like to change about myself...

1. How I feel about my physical self. Which is improving..but I would love to care less about what I call... 'imperfections'.
2. My critical nature. Which is also improving...however..I ain't there yet!

2 Things I like about myself...

1. I am a strong individual. Physically and emotionally.
2. I am very forgiving.

2 Things I look forward to in the future...

1. Having more of God's presence in my life.
2. Spending eternity with Him.
Hey...it's my life now!

Okeedokee...I dunno If I want to do this but I guess I will...ugh...
Please forgive me people! p:

Humph! I don't know if I should thank you for tagging me.:irked:
It's all you fault I got started into this whole Opera Community thing in the first place... p:

But seriously, Cheryl, I noticed a number of other people got "tagged" at one time or another and I supposed it would just be a matter of time until it happened to me. I've been sort of dreading it since it demands more vulnerability - but to a larger audience (unless some people don't do it all if they are that shy or insecure):left: .

Stay tuned..

Baby Steps Henry... p:
You blame me for your entrance into the OC?

Yes...It's definitely your turn now...I really thought it would be a good step for you.
You really don't 'have' to if you don't want to...but I look forward to reading your stuff when & if you do it.

Well...your're posts were so interesting I just HAD to reply - and then met a bunch of other nice people along the way.

I worked on the 'tag' most of last night. Perhaps I put too much thought into it, but you may be surprised by some of my answers. Still have to find 5 others to send a 'tag' to. Stay tuned again...

Today, however, was spent trying to repair our baptismal tank heater (we are having 5 baptisms Easter Sunday!  :hat: ). After hours of finding replacement parts and rewiring, it still didn't work! The poor folks and our pastor will be a bit cold in room-temperature water. nervous But I at least managed to get the finishing touches done on our church projector's new swing-away mount that I custom designed. THAT works flawlessly.

Catch you later!

What a wonderful thing..to have a baptism service on Easter Sunday!
These people don't know how blessed they are...in the old days they did services in lakes & rivers!...and it wasn't always in the summertime.
I was baptised in a swimming pool...it wasn't heated and it wasn't hot out.

Looking forward to the tag post. p:
