From One Chick to Another..

Where under His Wings I find refuge.

My soldier sons...

,

(my son Jeremy & Josh & their friend.)

As I said on Sunday, I was at my sons final cadet ceremony and I have pictures to share!
My eldest son earned 3 awards..this is his 3rd year with the Army cadet program.
He managed to win the Top Silver Star Award which is quite the accomplishment!
I am a proud mommy! :D

Yes, congrats to Jeremy & Josh but Mom is allowed to be proud, rearing great sons is hard work.

*ahem* not to bring any attention to myself or anything... :left:
I sewed all those badges on myself.. p:
They really need to be presenting awards for badge sewing..there is nothing that is more tedious!

I have to agree. My poor young son learned early to sew his scout badges on.

With the last batch of badges...I watched in agony as Josh tried to sew a badge onto his uniform...He was grunting, and muttering under his breath..so I finally said..."Give it to me"...and spent the next 3 hours sewing.
