Gone for 6 weeks!

For the second year in a row...my eldest son is gone to Cadet camp in Borden, Ontario for 6 weeks of training. He is actually taking a course this year in Adventure training. 
The first year was only for 2 weeks.
6:45 this morning this was him...
(notice there isn't a shot of his mom..or dad--bags under the eyes and all!--I have been up @ 6 am all week and this morning, up @ 5:45.. 
)
He looks pretty

& On the bus. This morning on the way into Ottawa at 6ish a.m. my dear boy asked me, pleaded with me..."Mom..please don't get on the bus & take a picture like you did last year."
To me that meant, "Mom, please get on the bus and take a picture of me...I feel special when you do that.
"
So...I did.
I might not have done it had he not reminded me so kindly this morning.

I had someone ask..."What are you going to do for 6 weeks without your son?" I said..I have 4 more children to keep me busy!

I am so glad you could read into what he said! See? It's a woman's mind that can decipher these things.
Ya..I thought I would put that pic up there.. Does it look like I know what I am doing??
My daughter brought home the French Horn in the spring to try it out...I had to see if I could make a sound...I didn't do too badly.
My main instrument is the clarinet.
