From One Chick to Another..

Where under His Wings I find refuge.

Grand total sits at 8---so far!

,

This morning, after a blessed day of no babies.., we have 2 new babies!
Peter went into the barn this morning to find a set of twins, a girl & a boy!
Everyone is doing great.
We named the little, initially rejected, doe from Sunday, "Annie". It suits her!

(Annie-pic)
She has been adopted happily by Queen!
We surely didn't totally appreciate the name we gave Abe, the buck (short for Abraham)when he arrived here over a year ago!
Abraham was declared by God, in the Old Testament, to be the Father of many nations. Well..our goat is the father of many! :D He is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing!
Good lad!
We are still expecting a few more goats...so keep posted!
Thankfully, the weather is unusually warm...perfect to have babies in! Thank you GOD!

4 more Kids! & Update...The Wind-She Blew!

Awww  that is far too cute for words. And those goats are born in the right month too, now they are Capricorns! Baaaaaa...

It is good news that all the creatures are born alive and are being nursed/taken care of.

Perhaps the animals of the barn could be sponsored by your Operazzi (my new word for Opera users that just HAVE to keep up on the latest posts..) to help defray costs of keeping everything going on the farm.

I haven't found a decent synonym for "cute", yet....; "adorable" is the best I can muster at this early hour...

Thanks Sandy.. You have some friends with the same b-day!

Henry.. That is brilliant!
Once we sell these babies...it will take care of everything. That was the plan...sell the babies to pay for the Hobby! Horses included.
Adorable is a good enough word.. :D

OK, you've inspired me - I would love to have goats too. I've been thinking about it for awhile, our neighbors all have them. Maybe when we reduce our herd of cats!

Thanks Elke!
& Cool Lois! They are very easy..you just need the proper penning so they can't escape!

Oooooh, the cute ears!

I worked in a zoo for a while where they had a special breed of mini goats. The babies were so small and so cute I wanted to take one home in my pocket. The adult ones were great escapers. :-D

I love the babies especially.
Though, I have a new found respect for these animals...especially- our- "Queen"...with her now, 4 babies! They have some wisdom in those eyes.

All goats are great escape artists! :D

I was talking to my insurance agent and she was telling me that her sister found a goat on the side of the road - probably, like you say, an escape artist!! She rescued him and took him home.
