What am I talking about?
My 'blooming' tomato plants! They are in my hallway...big & blooming! No fruit to come from their unfertilized flowers.

I have been too busy to do any gardening and it was too cold last week anyhow.
Yesterday while I was waiting for everyone to load into the van..I noticed the lushness of the weeds in the veggie garden...amidst the snap peas, lettuce & carrots that I already planted. :irked: :cry:
Soooooooo...I shall be getting my fingernails nice & dirty today! p:
& I will be planting, my cucumbers, green & wax beans & tomatoes galore. I have Beef Steak plants, Tiny tim cherry, and Sweet Yellow & Sweet Gold! I just adore tomatoes!!! :love:


Also my hubby will be planting some yummy sweet corn today...and getting ready to plant a few potatoes! Oooooh boy, we's gonna be eatin goood this fall! Hyuck Hyuck Hyuck! (insert a farmer smilie!) :D

Anyhow..have a happy Monday!--Off I go to dig in the dirt! :D

I love the funy smell of the tomato plants! So much promise of good things to come! Tomatoes are wonderful with just about anything!

Hi, Cheryl, "just happened" to visit your blog today (Tuesday) after I wrote in my blog...I'm happy to see you've been kept busy and that you'll be planting all those hummy vegetables...I want some!!! hahaha!!!Can't wait. I've been busy too - we're trying to pull all the weeds out of the back yard - impossible task - it's all weeds! Oh well, we're trying. Yes, keep me some tomatoes also. Nice. I'll have to wait until next Spring to do the same. I'm hoping this Fall to move out to some sort of spread along the north Gravenstein Highway in Sonoma County, CA, so I can do cool stuff like that!
