From One Chick to Another..

Where under His Wings I find refuge.

Better not mess with me!

, ,

If you know what's good for you! :right:

Ok...well..my inlaws left a short time ago...let's just say, I'd had enough!!

We really have a special relationship.
I forgave her when she told me I looked like a truck driver. Thanks to the shirt, and hat. Then, when I showed her my pellet rifle..she couldn't resist but want a picture. Please forgive, my not so gracious, apparel. I was busily cleaning & getting ready for my brother's visit...there wasn't time to look nice. :eyes:

This is my weapon of choice to take out anything from a ground hog..to a mink. I was pretty pumped after I shot a mink in my barn after it had already killed 2 of my birds.

She said you looked like a truck driver :eyes: Maybe you could have imagined she was a mink and showed her what you can do with the pellet gun  Then forgive her

Just kidding :D

You boyish?? I don't think so! You mean you could shoot one of these? :frown:

Well, this is a prairie dog, but I think the same as mink, right?

By the way, I just took this the other day we have a park here that houses prairie dogs. Some are pretty nasty looking.

Hi there Sarah...no..that is not a mink. A mink is a member of the weasle family, but a mink is about 3 times or more bigger than a weasle.

I found a dead duck in my barn..one of my special ducks (I don't have them anymore)..her neck was all chewed up...I knew I had problems when I found that. It had also done the same to one of my setting (on a nest of eggs :irked: ) little silkie hens.
I ran back to the house to get that rifle, and waited.
This is what I saw..(it freaked me out! )

But I prayed, held the rifle poised and pointed at it's head & BAM! He dropped immediately..though I repeated the shots a few more times to be sure.
Anyhow..that was a few years back and am glad I haven't had that experience since.
And the GroundHogs are more like the PrairieDogs. ('cept not nearly as cute!)

I shot one in my veggie garden after it had eaten most of my newly growing produce. It was a tough year that year. It was living in the garden! :frown:

A truck driver! She would have gotten a really good laugh if she had seen me the night I was outside in Arthur's T-Shirt and an old pair of ripped shorts trying to discourage a possum by throwing pine cones at him and calling him names.
