Better not mess with me!

Ok...well..my inlaws left a short time ago...let's just say, I'd had enough!!

We really have a special relationship.
I forgave her when she told me I looked like a truck driver.

This is my weapon of choice to take out anything from a ground hog..to a mink. I was pretty pumped after I shot a mink in my barn after it had already killed 2 of my birds.
Just kidding

Well, this is a prairie dog, but I think the same as mink, right?
By the way, I just took this the other day we have a park here that houses prairie dogs.

I found a dead duck in my barn..one of my special ducks (I don't have them anymore)..her neck was all chewed up...I knew I had problems when I found that. It had also done the same to one of my setting (on a nest of eggs
I ran back to the house to get that rifle, and waited.
This is what I saw..(it freaked me out!
But I prayed, held the rifle poised and pointed at it's head & BAM! He dropped immediately..though I repeated the shots a few more times to be sure.
Anyhow..that was a few years back and am glad I haven't had that experience since.
And the GroundHogs are more like the PrairieDogs. ('cept not nearly as cute!)
I shot one in my veggie garden after it had eaten most of my newly growing produce. It was a tough year that year. It was living in the garden!
Thanks Elke!
