Spring Fever

Yesterday was an interesting day, to say the least.. 
Meet Lucy and Jack! Yes, "JACK"! (Goose formally known as Matilda)
I really need to get a better grip on the sexing of animals.
Initially when I chose the goslings as babies, I was confident I had a boy & girl.
I shouldn't have doubted myself.
How did I discover this error? Well, I was innocently looking out of my window while on the phone with my husband...and my geese were mating in the pond!!
For crying out loud!
Earlier my cats were at it, right on the deck, in front of the kitchen window!
Sheesh...National Geographic, where are you??

I have had geese before..Africans...and they were evil, and attack the kids & us every chance they got!
I won't say what happened to them.
