Waiting for winter to end.

It was minus 42 degrees celcius this morning..with the wind chill factored in!
The wind blew so hard last night, it felt as if the walls would blow in.
Tomorrow my son's Gr. 8 class is throwing a surprise baby shower for their teacher. She is beginning her maternity leave after school on Friday.
I offered to make the cake. I thought I would venture out and do something different.
I would probably charge around $100.00 for a cake like this if I was to do it for a customer. It took a long time to put it together..and create the decorations. I did the fondant decorations yesterday so they could dry properly.
This morning, I noticed quite a kafuffal at the suet feeder, so I started snapping shots...and was thrilled to see this... (notice the bird in flight to the left...and the bird with his tongue out...just as if he is giving his buddies a lecture!
Have a great week everyone!
You have a great week as well. God Bless,
sarah

Poor Cheryl. The best, what you can do: to bake some cakes, bake a lot of cakes!
Because, that will give you warmer temperatures in your kitchen.
Now for serious: I hope, spring will came soon in your region

I pray for the warmer weather...it should be here by the week-end. Poor animals are all cooped up in the barn.
