I wish I could snap some pics of the event...but I don't want to disturb the incubator..at this point it is imperative to leave the lid on. ***I discovered a way to take pics...with the macro setting and a flashlight through the little incubator window!***
Anyhow..I woke up to peeping galore this morning..one hatched! (out of 6) (A silver sebright) There is another egg moving along quickly...#2 is on the way.
It helps with the peeping of #1 to encourage it's egg-mates.
So, soon we are off to church..but will be back later to set up a brooder for them.
They are a day off in hatching as I had the temp set a little too low.
