Around the Northern Atlantic Ocean.

HI All,
Finally a real Duploworld Update:)
I have as you know been travelling a lot lately and is currently spending my last night in London.
It has been an amazing trip, more busy than usual and an endless amount of hours spend travelling in Airplanes, waiting in Airports and a lot of other stuff too... A number of meetings too, but hey... Meetings usually comes with doing a business trip and I am not complaining, I do actually like my job:D
First stop on my trip were Washington DC, I spend the night in a really lousy hotel called "Presidents Inn" in a not too decent part of town (judged by the looks of the neighbourhood) But next morning I got up very early, just before sunrise and tumbled to the washington monument, figured I would do a walkabout before the meetings in Arlington.
I went from the washington Monument and all the way through the Arlington Semetary, a nice walk, especially this early in the morning before Washington would get too crowded by traffic.
A few Pictures from the walk:
As you can see it were early, but a wonderful time to relax, get over the flight and transportation and recharge before the meeting.
During my walk I even caught a group of birdys on an excursion to Washington:)I quickly got my new toy mounted and shot a few pictures:
In the evening I went with the Amtrack to New York and arrived at the "Affina Dumont" Pretty late in the evening.
Saturday were basically all meetings but I did get a chance to spend a few hours at the Photo Plus Expo, it were a great chance to play with toys so expensive I would not even dream of buying it (read: be able to aford them, but would love to:D)
Went to an Irish bar that evening with a fellow Pentax user and full time photographer in the evening, great chance to talk to someone so much more experienced than my self and a cool guy too.
Early sunday morning I grabbed the opportunity to have a walkabout on manhattan island. even got time to grab a sandwich at a "Subway" and do a little shopping at B&H. Wow a toy store for adults:D I did a "little" shopping, but more on that in a later post.
A few Pictures from New York:
As you can see in the last picture, the city did wake up during my walk. and in the afternoon I grabbed a flight to London, where I still am.
I have created an album called "Around the Northern Atlantic" Here are more pictures from Washington and New York City. I will update it with pictures from London and from Copenhagen as I get along.
I have been to London since Monday and aside from a fairly quiet Monday, it has been a couple of very very busy days here. barely have had time to take a picture. Pictures from London and Copenhagen most likely will be in the next Update around the weekend. Here will also be the story of why Cologne all of the sudden were cancelled from the tour.
I am hopeless behind my reading of your blogs, I will however catch up a little tonight and again during the weekend.
Take god care you all:)
Thomas
