Aurora Borealis - part II

, , , ,

Hi All,

Another rather brief Duploworld update...

Went shooting this evening... it were a perfect night for hunting Aurora borealis...
But also a cold night... took me close to half an hour to get my fingers moving when I got back in...

But as you can see below the effort paid off, at least in my opinion:)

A more thorough update tomorrow evening.

Take care all:)

Thomas

Aurora BorealisOh guess this will be a lengthy one...

Oooh, delightful.

Nice capture - with the glow from the northern light and the city lights at the same time. You do benefit from your camera-and-lens purchases, now don´t you?

We, your readers and watchers, do, at least.

HI Allan,

Thank you, thank you and thank you:)

I am glad that you enjoy eatching my pictures. Because I really do enjoy capture them.

Well they do allow me to use my creativity a lot more than previously. It may be heavy to lug around, but it is soo much fun using.

Thanks again and take care:)

You will have to buy good gloves because we want many more Aurora's pictures! p

I think it's the most artistic nature's phenomena.
I can't tire myself of watching photos of it. Sadly for the real thing, I will have to travel. When I was a kid we use to see auroras 3 or 4 times during the winter but now with the light pollution, I don't think there's any chance of seeing some even if I'm quite North.

Really beautiful up

Oooh, another beautiful northern light picture, but after reading your comment it sent me shivers...
Unlike Greenland, it was a warm day around where we live, and finally I am able to post a picture that looks like autumn when you already started your winter album! Besides, I haven't worn my winter coat yet.

Take care not to catch cold, otherwise we feel a bit guilty. bug

>Louis,

Thank you. ↑That's the one, I meant. Your current profile picture is like a painting. smile

Beautiful and breathtaking!
You have two more friends for your happy northern light photos: me and Mr. BF Dolphin.

idea What about a camera with an implemented heater for your hands? The industry should think about it! Serious!

HI Louis,

Thank you:)

I were wearing gloves:D but there is a fie line between warm hands and ability to control the camera. I have yet to find the right combination:)

Auroras are amazing wonders of Nature... Sad you cannot see it from where you live, I would have thought so.

Today seems promising so far... but clouds can still make things look bad.

Thomas Bojer EltorpDuplo Tuesday, November 21, 2006 11:45:26 AM

Hi Momable,

Thank you:)

Mostly yes. they do change over the season though... but they are usually a shae of green or white or something in between, I think.

Take care:)
