A picture says more than a thousand words, as the saying goes.
I like the first one best - even though it´s lacking some detail in the foreground snow. Maybe it´s my screen? That´s always the problem - we have to make our photos as we can best - but never know on what kind of a screen they are viewed.
Nice photos. I'd agree with ricewood though and tweak the levels a little to boost the snow. Did you shoot raw or just jpeg? Easy to fix in raw of course...
I love that picture, but you are right... I have simply uploaded the wrong picture, this is a straight from raw conversion without any PP at all. I always keep one of those for referece and have simply uploaded the wrong one... I will correct it in a moment.
and yes we can only optimise for the screen we are working at. not other peoples screens.
Both you and allan are right... see my comment above.
I always shoot RAW. why settle for less. Seems odd to by a dSLP and not take full advantage of it.
There is actually plenty of detail in the snow on the 10 MP version, put powder snow and heavy winds makes them very, very fine... why they barely shows in the low resolution web image.

I LOVE the idea of giving them a title and having ur water mark on them!!
Its a real nice 'finishing touch' to the shots

I like it too... I am a little unsure about the size of it... but well too late to change it:D

The water mark might be a little big but I don't know why, it seems just the right size on the third photo. Must be the colour or the position...

I have that same odd feel about it... well I am going to sleep on it I think...

Much like what the ant tit's that Allan talks about
I shall have to use that phrase one day.

Yeah direct translations are great at times... I am sure a phrase like that will turn a few heads:D
