Spring pictures Update...

Hi all,
Another Duploworld update and again to get some of the Spring pictures posted before June 1st
Three pictures in this one and while good, not entirely up to standard of the first picture in the last post...
Yet still what I consider photos of fairly good quality. that is really the problem, you know... posting pictures after pictures as THIS...
Anyway, first off is a Greenlandic beach:
Second off is well... I do not know what to call such a bunch of stones, it is called a "Varde" in danish:
Third off is a different view of picture 2:
Thanks for looking and do take care:)
Thomas

I think these are good, though.
But it´s all about the light. Landscapes definitely tend to improve considerably from low-angled light.

The word you're looking for might be cairn.
Do they have inuksuit in Greenland? They were everywhere in Vancouver because of the upcoming Winter Olympics.

I think you are right... not perfect, but good.
Landscapes is indeed all about light... that is what makes it such a challenge...

Cairn was indeed the word I was missing (too lazy to look it up)
Inuksuit is what the locals calls them, they spell it slightly differently I think though and there are a lots of them in the mountains... they are excellent navigation markers (if you know which ones to follow)... and the only thing to kep you on track, the rough terrain has no trails and the steep ridges makes it rather easy to get lost.
Thanks for helping me out:)
