A magic night in Copenhagen
Tuesday, July 24, 2007 1:52:45 AM
Hi All,
it is time for the second Duploworld update on my Copenhagen visit.
Subject matter is on somthing magic that goes on every night/evening in Copenhagen and makes for a truly wonderful scene.
Those of you having visited Copenhagen might already have guessed what I am talking about, it is Tivoli by night.
Tivoli is perhaps the oldest amusement park in the world.
The Tivoli park has been located in the very center of Copenhagen since 1843, not only does it actually have a few interesting rollercoasters and stuff, it has something much more important. History. Afterall, it has been a part of the city for roughly 164 years.
During night it turns into magic and makes for perhaps the most beautiful place in Copenhagen by night.
Well enough said, the following pictures kind of says it all:
The China house:
Pirates in Tivoli:
Ready for a spin?
Fountains by night:
A few more can be found as an update to the "Danish Summer Photos" album.
Thank you for looking and do take care:)
Thomas

This is Tivoli as it ought to look like!!!
What shutter speed Thomas? No noise at all. Did you use NoiseNinja or the likes - or is it just Pentax?
This is so good - never mind the tech stuff.

I must admit that I am pretty happy about these photos.
Easy part first the shutter speeds 1(15s @ f8), 2(30s @ f9), 3(8s @ f13) and 4(13s 2 f8).
All shot at ISO 100 which in combination with a subtle noise reduction in the Raw conversion stage (silkypics) is what makes them look so clean. the full res photo has a slight trace of noise, but noiseninja will take care of that before the final print.
You sensor should have pretty much the same noise characteristics as mine (they are the same, except for the four channel readout).
All techs and what matters is the final outcome and i appreciate you liking it.
