2 weeks, 2000+ photos and a true adventure

Hi All,
Yep a new Duploworld update is ready, or well not an update per se, more of a well now I am finally back online again. I have been out for nearly two weeks. SO far out that a cellphone coverage was non existant for days.
What have I been doing you might ask, well the photo below (taken by my brother) Spells it out nicely.
Duplo by the Glacier
First I had my brother visiting me here in Nuuk for a week, the for one week, I have been up very close with 2 calving glaciers (both on land and in fiord) and a dead one, visited the ice cap on two different locations and sailed among the worlds largest icebergs in anything from a larger boat to a tiny 3 person motorboat.
We have hiked for days, saying hi and hugging (more or less volounterely
) Greenlandic sled dogs and a lot more.
Duplo and a Greenlandic sled dog
Well only downside is going to be going over the more than 2000 frames shot during the last two weeks and getting them processed within deadline. All photos including the one above has been shot by my brother.
He was travellign with me and miss Duplo and part of an adventure I have not even begun grasping myself yet.
But for now I just wanted to let you know that I am back and that I got some pretty interesting stuff to tell over the comming weeks.
My watchlist is totally out of control, I will do my best to get around to all of my favourite blogs again over the next week, but my apologies in advance for not having been around for quite a while.
Thanks again for reading all and do take care
Thomas

It was an amazing adventure. My mind is was litterally overloaded with impressions and I guess it will be a while before I am truly able to understand what I was fortunate enough to experience.
I will start posting as soon as I have the galleries up.
Congrats on the D700 Allan.
It is an amazing body, the RAW files are an absolute pleasure to work with. And it is not bad to be back in the 35mm format either
Hi Bea,
Good to be back again.
How did everything go?

That's a very impressive machine, Alan! It's a move up from the D3 in Nikon's production.
I've just read the review at http://www.dpreview.com/previews/nikond700/
Mighty fine camera

I will soon be back reading up on your new adventure.
Hi Asgeir,
It was an amazing adventure indeed, hopefully ready for the first real post in a couple of days.
Thank you Zé.
Well you will not get to see them all, but I can promise to post a fair selection
Quite an adventure indeed Mickey J.
Whole story will be up in a few days
Thank you Deborah,
Well they are having their summer fur this time a year thus not as beautiful as they are during winter, but some amazing animals they are.
Thank you Dear Loku, these photos are from my brothers collection, but I will make sure to pass on your kind words.
