Ricewood remebrance.

Hi All,

More than a year has passed since Allan left us.

Allan, was to me, an important part of my inspiration, a source to learn from and lean on photographically speaking, a friend and above all a very gifted soul with both words and images.

The news of his dead was hard on me, as it was on many many others.

Last Monday I was fortunate enough to pay him a visit, to say my own very silent and discrete goodbye to a friend.
I am not sure why it took so long, but it was an important thing to do - for me.

I have so many memories of him; visits to his pages, reading and sharing of his quiet wisdom and his gentle humor.

God bless you Allan. Amen, ... You enriched my life and in knowing you I received a priceless gift held for the rest of my days.
