My OperaSummer has arrived - finally:p

Hi there,
Well a week has passed and things here in "Duplo world" has undergone drastic changes...
It has happened - finally - summer has arrived:D:D:D
Or well not exactly a tropical one, but it is wormer more sunny and definitely putting Nuuk in a totally different and more beautiful view.
The week has been really busy and I do mean busy. Work has almost been killing me, but the fact that it has been more sunny and far wormer really makes up for some of it.
The weekend has been my best up here since the snow melted away. a really quiet Friday, just my fiancée and I. barbequing at the balcony.
Saturday we got up, went to Nuuk and shopped around for a while, not really that exciting as shopping opportunities up here is next to none existing compared to Europe. Had a great Lunch at one of the local restaurants, steaks on the barbeque and a few friends for dinner, just a relaxed and flat out pleasant Saturday:D
Today we slept till around 1030, it did get quite late yesterday;) and well clear blue sky and loads of sun greeted us.
We joined up with LC at the foot of "lille Malene" around noon and headed for the peak and what a trip:D
I have loaded up a few pictures from the 3 hours trip to the peak and the views... just look at the picture below:
I mean, at times like this I really begin to understand why people likes to live here, it were a steep and rough trip at times but the reward were some of the most striking views I have seen for a long time... check out the latest album to see some of the pictures from the trip.
Anyway I have a few more peaks to reach, "Store Malene" is the first. Taller and more steep than "Lille Malene".
Second one is the "Sermitsiak". The tallest peak around and a full days walk and climb:D
But well why not spend the summer reaching those as they are to dangerous in the winter, people gets killed or injured pretty badly on these peaks every winter...
Anyway, I got to go… The barbeque has to be prepared. We are having some friends over, for a round of steaks and salad:D
