Hi All,
Time for another update from Duplo World and what a week it has been...I have actually exceeded my own expectations and this is the second update of the week, I do not know if it is a sign of addiction to blogging or to much spear time though... could it be both;)
Anyway, work wise it has been frustrating and amazing all at once... Project is coming to maybe the single most important deadline next week and finishing up everything for it has truly been a challenging and great thing to do...
Some other stuff has on the other hand been pretty frustrating, but all in all it has been great:D
Wednesday night I saw the most amazing sky I have ever seen, words nor pictures is not enough...
Friday night we went to a birthday party. Way fun, meet up with some new people as well and they turned out to be great... One of them even shared my addiction to RnB.... why it also become a road down a the memory lane of music.
later we went to a new Night Club in Nuuk called Manhattan, An attempt to make an upscale night club, it seems that they never got further than the attempt though.
In order to attract a sufficient amount of guests, they had to lower the standard quite a lot and well they could have done better designing the club, selected a decent DJ, etc.
Bearing the location of the club in mind, well then I guess it does have a higher standard than any other club or bar up here.
In there I joined a few other friends from up here, including a newcomer, She has been her for like 3 weeks, but she is doing quite well already.
Saturday morning my new camera arrived (a Panasonic DMC-FZ7 for those interested), Took it for a walk with my fiancée all afternoon to test it. I am not that much of a photographer, but upgrading from a standard compact camera to this baby were some experience and I am only learning to use it properly at the moment, however one thing I have learned already is that it does give the opportunity of some really crisp shots. THIS PICTURE is uploaded in full size to give you a feel of how crisp.
A few other pictures from our walk can be found HERE .
Anyway I am looking forward to get all the features figures out, because as you might have notised it does over exposure the pictures a bit. Furthermore it does offer a quite a few features I am not used to having in my control, gotta learn how to use them and I am catching up pretty fast.
Anyway time to head off again, it has been another great week and I do hope you week has been great as well:D
Do take care:)
Thomas
