An unusual Week.

Hi All,
Another Duplo World update and as the title states, it has indeed been unusual:)
What have made it unusual I guess you all know already, my Grand Parents" in-law" have been up here they actually arrived Friday which I have mentioned in last weeks update, why I will not go into any further detail on what we did last weekend, but rather how this week has been different, due to their presence.
The most obvious difference is that we have had them living in our house and as discrete and pleasant they might be, it is a major difference to have some living with you. But then again they have been very pleasant to have around.
Another thing I have notised during their stay with us, is that I kind of forgot how beautiful this place is and how different it is from any other place I have been.
I guess that somewhere during my time up here, I have gotten used to the place, gotten used to the striking nature, the amazing and flawless sunsets and the odd coloured wooden houses that are so common up here.
How did it happen? I am not sure, but having them up here has actually made me see new faces of the area, Lake Circus is an example, I am not sure I would have gone there if it were not for our them.
The third thing is the bonds between them and us. I have grown to know them a lot better than I think I would have done if we had been living in the same country. Ones get to know each other in a different way when living under the same roof even if it is only for a relatively short period of time.
Last but not least, I have learned that getting old can be a beautiful thing. Seeing these two people, old yes, yet still curious, full of energy and eager to learn more about the world. It has been amazing. Another amazing experience were seeing that love can actually last and continue to blossom through out our lives.
Friday we actually brought them with us, and a load of friends to see some stand-up. And even though they by far out aged the remaining audience, they actually seemed to enjoy it.
Saturday I follow Malene's Grand Parents to the Airport and in the evening I joined a couple of friends for a trip to the movies. We decided on Superman Returns and even though the Story is were good and Kevin Spacey did great as Lex, the nit just seemed too long to me and I came out with the feeling that the Superman character had become to smooth and perfect, compared to the original.
The weekend has been used playing a bit around with monochrome imaging as well.
Ricewood (Allan) a fellow Dane kind of inspired me doing so. Thank you Allan.
I were amazed about how different the same photo looks in monochrome compared to colour. I have mostly been playing around with portraits of Malene and a few landscapes. It seems that taking away the colour of a portrait really does bring more attention to the expression and mode of the one being portrayed, at least to me. but take a look at the Monochrome Album and let me know what you think or if you are a bit lazy just look below.
Last but not least I just wanted to share a few pictures taken up here (in colour:)):

One of our planes caught approaching the runway.

A picture of Nuuk from the waterside
Do take care you all:)
