A blaster of a Birthday party and more.

HI All,
A next to regular update from Duploworld.
AS I write this my birthday has officially ended, sad but true. I am know in my 26th year of life, some would say come on kid, others start calling me old:) In my very personal opinion it is fairly great.
Yesterday we threw a blaster of a birthday party for a group of friends, great party started out a bit quiet, but the gin started influencing people and it turned out a real blaster:D nothing like a group of great people and a few bottles of gin, chilled tonic and ice:hat:
Woke up this morning, suprisingly hangover free and thought it would be a great day for a walk, heavily clouded sure but no rain:)
I grabbed my fiancé in one hand and my new "toy" in the other and headed off. It were a short like 2 hours walk, but well I guess everything counts and the fresh air and wonderful landscapes is still the same:)
The walk turned out great, we stuck closer to Nuuk to catch a view of the odd coloured architecture used up here combined with some of the beautiful views Greenland has to offer.
Going through the pictures gave me an idea for a new photography project, working title will be along the lines of "Nuuk from a foreigner’s point of view" focusing on the combination of odd coloured architecture and beautiful landscapes.
Shot the first round of pictures for it during our walk today.
The walk seemed very appropriate in a to me surprising way too. I found out I have been honoured with the title of "Walker of the Week" by the COTWG. A very honourable title that I deeply appreciate:)
In the evening we walked to the centre of Nuuk for a nice dinner at the new microbrewery up here.
Another surprising discovery made during our walk were the sight of birds, kind of anyway but there is actually ducks up here, very surprising:eyes:
Last thing before heading off to bed is to share a few pictures taken today, a few for the aforementioned project and a few duck shots:)

Reflections of Nuuk:
A lonely duck:
That is it for new got to get to bed a new hike is up for tomorrow:)
Do take care:)
