A surprise and a Nuuk Autumn Picture

Hi All,
Another Duploworld update, mostly on yesterday and definitely not on work, cause work is a real bugger at the moment. I am not going to name any names, Greenland is to freaking small for that, but damn somebody need to set a few people straight.
Oh, yeah I am naming those people to our CEO tomorrow (AGAIN).
Yesterday we had this power failure, so bad that even the emergency power went dead. Bad for work, but great for me because weather were great and I had a loong afternoon to my self. I grabbed my camera, strapped on the hiking boots and decided to walk the entire coastline from the airport to town, just to see what might lie hidden near the coast, firstly to get another Nuuk Autumn Picture
And guess what I did:D

Another thing happening while walking this coastline were that I realised how big nature is up here. When you look at the pictures you are not really realising it, because all you see is the landscapes and the visibility up here REALLY fools you. The picture below kind of gives the size away. It may look like any other pier, but take a look at the size of the motor boats in front of it and then at the pier again.

Now click the picture and go to the album Scenic Greenlandic Nature It is pictures just like this, shot yesterday and nope, not tthe least bit post processing, except for the scaling and framing, this is how they came out of the camera (OK used a polarising filter when taking a few of them). Why am I pionting this out you may think, well mostly to let you know that I want you get a feel of how things really look up here, not how I would like it to look.
Had dinner with two great friends (Helle and Thomas) in the local and surprisingly decent thai restaurant, perfect way to round up yesterday:yes:
One last thing came across this yesterday and it stroke me; Richard and Andy, any of your birdy shot lost a feather:confused:
Anyhow do take care you all, I hope you liked the pictures in my surprise album, not that many but more is sure to follow:)
Thomas
