Changes were bound to happen.

HI All,
These very frequent updates from Duploworld were bound to change sooner or later, know seems to be the time.
Why? Because my fiancée is returning from Denmark tomorrow, has it really been 10 days already? Having said that i have been missing her a lot and I am REALLY looking forward to have her by my side again...
The downside is it means less frequent update again, but do not worry, I will be updating at least twice a week in the future.
It has indeed been a real autumn weekend. Heavy rain almost non-stop and winds strong enough to almost throw me off balance at times. Only break were like 3 hours yesterday (yep I did spend those outside with my camera:D) I chanced a walk, but I did not get home before the rain started again and I sure were drenched when I got back home.
This weekends APN is different from the previous, but yet it does have that autumnal feel to me:

I also made a few shots from the southwest of Nuuk, moving closer to central Nuuk as evident in the last photo:

This weekend and the "unsettledness" of a Hungry Canadian made me realise how much I am longing for winter and how much I have changed opinion on the subject. Not that Autumn is not great with all its colours and amazing sceneries, but I am longing for winter, heaps of snow, freezing cold weather and the look of Nuuk dressed in white again.. I can even live with the many dark hours (like 18 of 24).
Previously I were in the exact opposite corner on this, I hated Winter, hated the chilly weather, the eternal mix of snow and rain. and were just waiting for spring to arrive.
I cannot tell you exactly what has changed, the winters up here are far chillier, a LOT more snowy, a lot darker and quite a lot longer, yet I find my self longing desperately to the first snowfall.
I have come to the conclusion that it is my approach that has changed and by changing my approach I have also changed my attitude towards winter. Up here where winter is a fact of life, I have chosen to embrace it instead of rejecting it and it has made winter a totally different experience to me. I am really looking forward to this one:)
What else to tell, I am planning my next trip, originally schedulled for September, but now due mid late October.
A three stop trip as it seems right now, Cologne, Copenhagen and London, really lklooking forward to it, even though it will become a stressed up, more or less work only trip. Basically meeting morning to evening, but I am hoping to squeeze a photograph or two out of it as well:)
That is it for now, I will be back with an update in a few days, take good care you all:)
