What a day

Hi All,
I promised you all to lay low for a few days and that Duploworld would be devoted to Miss Duplo. That was by all means my intention and hers for that matter. However circumstances beyond our control apparently wanted things different.
She made her flight from Copenhagen, no sweat, upon arrival at Kangerlussuaq things changed somewhat. Weather conditions were so bad that the plane were unable to land, it diverted first to Keflavik, Iceland and then back to Copenhagen, so the day that were supposed to reunite us, ended as it began, me and her being 400 kilometers apart. Tall about bad luck:(
Well the day has not been a total waste after all:) Today the definite sign on the transition from autumn to winter reappeared, snow on the peaks of "Store Malene" in fact it were still snowing up there when I were taking the picture.

It is by no mean an autumn picture. I took it to show you the location of the newest part of Nuuk called "Ringorput". That it carries the definite sign on the approaching winter were just an add-on. I know it is not among the best pictures, but it is not that bad either and it does serve its own purpose anyway. Temperatures are slowly dropping too, now we have temperatures below 0 in the night and daytime temperatures just above.
I have spend the evening visiting firstly Helle and Thomas and secondly dropping of a CD-rom with pictures from our trip to the first peak of "Store Malene" to Helene who were with us there, yeah I know have not posted the pictures yet, but will do within shortly, I promise:)
I have uploaded another two pictures, one for the Nuuk Autumn Pictures album and one for the Nuuk from a foreigners point of view album.

That is all for today, not at all a good day:( But not all bad either:)
Take care you all and this time I will hopefully be of the grid for a day or two.
Thomas
