Being busy is hard work.

For those of you who dont know, in my spare time i work on cars. mostly scions, but i work on all cars. i customize them. i helped build the top scion xb in the National Custom Car Accociation. i also built my own car which has won multiple car shows. well winter means its time to get back to work. my friend owns that top xB in the country and hes redoing it. new scheme, all new interior, the works. aside from my boring as balls 9-6 job i wont be online much and will be spending most of my time in the garage Team Toyota of Langhorne Pennsylvania is graciously letting us use for our project cars. go to them first if you need to buy a toyota or scion. if you get a scion tell Ivan that dustin with the brown xB sent you.
i also need to redo my car. new wheels, new suspension, new body kit, new paintjob. the problem is im broke. i dont have any spare money for this stuff and its really discouraging. at least i get to make my ideas reality in my friends show car as he gives me full creative rights on the car as if i owned it too. i love the world of custom cars.
i doubt ill be noel's room mate like i had posted in my last blog.
i got to see my friend kristina the other night at my friend adam's birthday party and it was great to see her again. i hadnt seen her since her birthday a while back. we drove back from adams wedding in Omaha Nebraska in september last year. it was a wicked far road trip and i had an absolute blast with her. it was me, her, and me and adams friend jarrett. we left at night so j slept a lot of the trip. poor kristina drove out to omaha all by herself in a hyundai with one working windshield wiper, one headlight, and NO brakes. then her ccar got stuck in teh mud the hurricane storm brought and her car ended up with a flat tire, mud all over the inside of the car, and damage to the bumper. she ended up staying in my room at the hotel instead of back at her hotel, i let her borrow my pajama pants and a tshirt and she stayed in my bed (no nothing happened). the next day me and jarret drove her around and cleaned off her car, got a new tire and put it on for her, and met up with everybody. after a few hours of having fun and saying goodbye we headed out for the long-ass trip home. me and her grew a little close and she ended up keeping me company the whole way while jarrett slept. if i was driving she was awake with me on my arm talking about music and other stuff to help keep me awake and occupied. when jarrett drove i sat in the back and slept and she slept in the ppssenger seat up front. it was the single best roat trip ive ever been on, and ve been on a LOT of them. keep in mind im driving a hyundai with one wiper, one headlight, and no brakes the whole way so she doesnt have to. after 16 hours or so we drop jarrett off at adams house to get his car and i figure out whats wrong with the brakes. about 45 minutes later we arrive back at my house and rest for a bit. i used my knowlege of cars to figure out what was wrong with her wiper arm and i fexed it so she had 2 working wipers. i then crawled under the car and found the problem with the brakes: a leaking fitting on the brake caliper. everytime you stepped on the brakes fluid would spray out. i found the leaky fitting and tightened it and that solved her braking problem. now i didnt have to worry about her driving. all in all it was one of my greatest memories and if i could do it all over again i would in a heartbeat. she has her busy schedule and i have mine so having the chance to see her again really made my day.
i realize i dont use caps where i should.
ive been on antidepressants for almost 30 days. i have to say i do feel different, i have less anxiety BUT the depression is still there more or less. that can happen and im not worried about it just yet. i was told it can take 4-6 weeks for it to have full effect so we'll see how it is in 2 weeks or so. so if i still seem different im ok, its just the meds.
