Michael A. Reiter: Ihre Ausstrahlung - erkennen, entwickeln und gezielt einsetzen

Das Büchlein "Ihre Ausstrahlung" von Michael A. Reiter ist in der Reihe Taschenguide im Haufe Verlag erschienen. Die wesentlichen Aussagen in diesem Band sind ohne Zweifel richtig: Wer positiv auf andere wirken will, sollte authentisch sein. Körpergefühl, Atmung, Stimme und Lebenseinstellung spielen eine wichtige Rolle für eine positive, starke Ausstrahlung.

Leider jagd Reiter in seiner Darstellung von einer Übung zur nächsten und ich kann mir kaum vorstellen, dass viele Leser sich auf jede dieser Übungen wirklich einlassen. Ich jedenfalls hatte die Erwartung, mir einen schnellen Überblick zum Thema zu verschaffen.

Das Übertragen der vorgestellten Übungen auf den Alltag halte ich obendrein für problematisch. Andere Wege wie beispielsweise Tai Chi Chuan, Autogenes Training, Wandern usw. (die im Buch übrigens nicht einmal erwähnt werden) halte ich dagegen für sinnvoller. | © Elmar Driver


"Your Charisma - discover it, develop it and use it effectively" would be the translation of the German title. This book is not available in English. Anyways, here is my book review in English.

This little book by Michael A. Reiter has been published by the German publisher Haufe Verlag. The basic statements are correct, without doubt: If you want to come across as positive you need to be authentic. Physical well-being, breathing, your voice and your attitude to life play an important role for having a strong charisma.

On top of that, the book has some exercises, too. Unfortunately the author hurries from one exercise to the next one and I can't believe that many readers of this book get into these exercises really deep. At least I expected to get just a quick overview on the subject.

Furthermore I think it would be quite difficult to do these exercises regularly in your everyday life. Other ways to get closer to your inner self like Tai Chi Chuan, autogenous training, hiking and so on (the author doesn't even talk about these things) probably are a much better ways. | © Elmar Driver

Fritz Walter: Kaufmännisches Rechnen

Dieses Buch ist im Heckners Verlag veröffentlicht worden.
Der Titel ist damals als Bd. 2 der "Mathematik für Wirtschaftsschulen" erschienen.

Ich habe noch eine Ausgabe von 1981. Den Heckners Verlag gibt es mittlerweile, soweit ich weiß, nicht mehr als eigenständigen Verlag. Ansonsten, sieht man einmal von kleineren Dingen ab, dass z. Bsp. statt des Euro die D-Mark noch Währung ist, ein immer noch gültiges Standardwerk.

Zusammen mit dem Lösungsheft ist das Ganze eine gute Möglichkeit, sich die wichtigen elementaren Themen wie beispielsweise Schlußrechnung, Zinsrechnung, Terminrechnung usw. auch im Selbststudium anzueignen bzw. sich wieder in Erinnerung zu bringen. Besonders angenehm: Man braucht keinerlei Vorkenntnisse mitzubringen.

Alles wird detailliert und von Anfang an erklärt. So beginnt das Buch mit den Grundrechnungsarten und einem Kapitel über das Rechnen mit dem Taschenrechner. Die Erklärungen und Übungen sind sehr praxisorientiert und nebenbei lernt man auch noch ein wenig über verschiedene Bereiche der kaufmännischen Tätigkeit - sehr empfehlenswert für alle Kaufleute. | © Elmar Driver
