the lessons were quite palatable. i did them all and took notes. now if i just memorize them and practice a little, i will be able to read words i don't know the meaning of... but it's a start. it was very interesting... i love the way the letters change the sound with the dots.

i studied sanskrit for a year in college... but didn't go on because it would take too many years to master. sanskrit has 49 letters and they are grouped in a grid. as you go down the grid each way of making sound is a seperate seven letters. as in labial... there are seven labial letters, or dental, seven of them. so organized you could never pronounce anything wrong.
