Lets get started by getting to know what is drug abuse?
Drug abuse in a real sense is the use of drugs without the advice of a doctor or a physician. On the other hand it is also the use of harmful substances which can cause harm to the body. So i will be writing about the harmful substances as drugs.
A child is anybody under the age of eighteen. Lets see how we can protect these children from drug abuse and how it does affect them.
Parental Guidance: The guidance of parents is the first thing needed to protect a child from getting into drug abuse. As most children are very inquisitive, they tend to test whatever drugs they come across with. People who use drugs like cocaine, heroine and tobacco tends to get children into the act due to the kind of society the children are exposed to.
Children are suppose to be nurtured with full care. They have the rights to be protected from all manners of societal dangers. Parents are supposed to monitor the child as he goes about his daily activities not to be exposed to people with bad behaviours. Though the parents cannot follow the child about but monitor his coming and going in the house.
School Guidance: The school is the next point of call on the effect of drug abuse on children and training the child in a good way. Children get exposed to bad friends at school, these friends may be engaged in drugs. With this factor, the ignorant good child starts learning the bad habit from his bad friend and gradually gets involved in the addictive drug. The school authority should monitor everything the students bring to school to maintain a good school. We learn bad things easily and it becomes very difficult to dispose off the behaviour.
Parental Care: The parents should behave in a lovely & caring manner to the child even when he/she has abused the drug by taking drugs harmful to their body like cocaine or heroine. Some parents send their child out of the home never to come back because they do drugs. By doing that, the parents are sending a notable criminal into the society because if that child goes into the society with no home or without care, he goes into drugs the more and becomes a criminal or becomes mentaly sick and sometimes constitute a nuisance to the society. So the parents should rehabilitate their child if the child happens to have been using harmful drugs. Children are the future of any country, they need your love, care, protection, guidance, counselling and more you can offer.

Poverty is not a new phenomenon in Africa and the world. It's been existing from time. Poverty is most common in Africa than any other continent of the world. Why? That's what this blog is all about.　Rate of Child birth: the rate at which people give birth in Africa especially the poverty striken ones is becoming much alarming. Africa is great, Africa is surprising. “Imagine some poverty striken men in Africa competing for high number of children” as if they earn money with it. This has caused them to marry more wives in the cause of the competition and thus increasing the rate of poverty by spreading it to the children In Africa, you can see a man who own up to 20 children or more and yet can't send the children to school. The children become jobless and the issue of robbery and all other violent acts increase. This is the major cause of poverty in Africa. Parents no longer give proper training to their Children and they neither have the money to send them to school nor to feed them. Doesn't it sounds creepy?　Corrupt Government: the government too is one major cause of poverty in Africa. Corruption has taken over them spreading across the whole of Africa. Government politicians embezzle funds ment to better the life of the people thereby increasing the rate of poverty. Do you think the poor will ever forgive them? If you were cheated and yet you can't voice out your pains, what will you do? People pay tax to the government and what do they get? Disappointments, they never recieve the results of their tax like provision of basic social amenities. We hope the government changes. “Money is good, Money is bad because it changes people” good politicians get into government and most of them becomes completely changed at the experience of money.　Lastly, i must commend the NGO's for their great job in decreasing the rate of poverty in Africa and also the little the goverments are doing. I commend the NGO's to keep it up and i advise the government to do up to expectations. I believe that if these two major causes of poverty are stopped, africa will be better. “I have a dream that Africa will be a better place…wait…not just a dream but a dream you should make a reality” thank you.

A child is any person under the age of 18. A child is a gift from God, they are the leaders of the future that the aged ones look up to. Children as the leaders of tomorrow need to be treated and nutured with care. The fact that children now become the ones who are now facing the bad and evil side of life and the bad doings of their parents upsets me. Some children become bread winners for themselves and their families at a very tender age. A boy who lost his father three months after his birth and lost his mother when he was eight years and has no one else to take care of him becomes a bread winner for himself just to make sure he survive and that makes him A CHILD WITHOUT A CHILDHOOD, a girl whose father died when she was only nine and got things worse for her sick mother whom have no other source of money for the family, the girl would go out everyday to see what she could do to get money for her family. These children would have to quit school and always think what the future have for them because 'The aged ones talk about the past while the children think about the future'. Children are very special and they deserve special treatment, you must not abuse them because if you do, you've abused their right which is punishable by law. Lets not just see this happen when children now becomes affected and infected with HIV/AIDS, when child trafficking and slavery becomes very common in the society, when child labour becomes a usual thing we see happen to children. I Wonder how they feel. What if it were you?

Africa is a great continent with great and amazing cultures. These cultures are good and enticing which often lure tourists to it. The cultures and traditions of Africa has no rival in the world. Countries like Nigeria, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Cameroon and Cot'D Ivoire are some countries in Africa where the true African culture is felt and seen. Most of these traditions are of good influence to its people but it hurts to see when some of these traditions turns out to hurt its people badly, some cultures and traditions punish evil in the society but when these traditions are overused/misused by the bearer, then their is a danger of loosing it. Modernisation/Civilization have taken over some of the highly cherished cultures and traditions of Africa today, lets strive to revive these usefult cultures and traditions we honor and cherish so much. Cultures that brings peaceful co-existence among its people, Cultures that leads to the growth of a virile Africa where no one is oppressed, Cultures that has made Africa a well know continent in the world, Cultures that will make Africa lead the world in future, Cultures that we wouldn't love to loose. Lets join hands to bring revivement to our continent so it could be a better, peaceful, lovely and virile place for us to live. Your co-operation matters to your country and to your continent at large. The world will be better, it depends on our faith, and our good morales. Peace is the best thing that will ever happen to us. AFRICA: GREAT CONTINENT WITH GREAT PEOPLE.

Politics is a profession, complicated and in a true sense it's noble but to some politicians its a business. Lets come to think of it, WHAT IS THE ESSENCE OF PRACTISING POLITICS? is it for development or for destruction and business. Most Politicians today are ready to do anything just to get a particular political position even if it is a do or die affair. As far as about some centuries ago, politics was practicalised in such a way that everybody enjoined the way everything was going like the developmental aspect. But today, since politics have become the major means which people get rich quickly, many people began to take that profession even the uneducated person. Nowadays you can see people with forged results, primary school certificates holding political offices, what a disgrace. Corruption and mislead has taken over the good people of the government. In everything we do, always remember that holding a political post is not forever, be mindful of how you treat others because one day you will surely leave there to face the wrath of the people. POLITICS IS FOR DEVELOPMENT AND NOT FOR DESTRUCTION.
