THE TIME HAS COME

We no longer need to climb trees, we have to climb mountains. We no longer need to swim in a river but in a sea. We no longer have to smile but laugh. These are some of my quotes i would be using to tell you, the time has come.
The time has come when we should see far into the future and prepare it from the present. The time has come when change should finally come. The time when we need to stop fighting ourselves. Drop your guns for days of fighting and sorrows are over. Days when we use to fight for freedom are over. Let's come together and think, now that we have the freedom, let's make a positive change to the world that would leave a legacy for our children and our childrens children to remember and copy from.
"We seek for freedom that we tend to misuse it when we finally get it" those days when you were in captivity and there was no freedom which you have to fight for. Remember the time when lives are destroyed and the cry for liberty is heard all around the world. Now we have the freedom, use it wisely.
Why the bombings, killings, destruction of lives and properties. What do you gain from violence? Why do you have to kill another man for what's his? He worked hard to get that, you should work for yours. Let's make peace around the world before it gets so bad that we would wish we had made a change.
The time has come when we needn't think about ourselves alone but about others. Someone must have cared for you. Care for someone. The recent earthquake in Haiti that claimed the lives of over 200,000 people is a sign to tell us, the time has come. There are many wolves in sheep clothings around so you have to be careful. Religious leaders who hide under the roof of their religious beliefs and cause destruction to the world. Remember that entering heaven is not by religion but by good deeds. What goodness have you done to mankind?
Footballers count goals to win trophies, Musicians counts albums to win awards, what do you count the number of people you kill for? Stop killings, rapes, destructions and violence and see to it that the world becomes a better place. There are people dying, will you care for them? They need you. The world needs you. You are the greatest change the world has been waiting for. It's not about how much you have but how many you have helped. Be remembered for good deeds not by evil deeds.
What is this time? It's the time to HEAL THE WORLD.

the world has been violent, i agree with that. do you know this words WE ARE THE WORLD means more than what you think when it comes to transforming/healing the world? it shows that me, you and every other person is the only one that could change the world. if they say THE WORLD IS VIOLENT, it also shows that me, you and every other person is violent. if you are not violent, you are not an exception because WE ARE THE WORLD. if that rapist, robber, soldier and countries could stop, then the world is changing. changing the world depends on us not just one person. Remember, Martin Luther King achieved that change, Nelson Mandela also achieved the change, you can achieve it too. it's the same world and as they always say, it's a small world afterall.

It should read"some of the world is violent"The vast majority of people are not violent,but as always you have the minority that wish to do things there way,with no thought for others.You have to understand that people are so diverse in their thinking and actions,it is impossible for there to be a violence free world.

I know people are diverse in their thinking. you said i have the minority that wish to do things their way. let me remind you that if nothing is done now, these minorities would someday be majorities. "when a child starts behaving wayward, it's better to correct him immediately than overlook it until it becomes bigger" it will become more difficult to solve in that case. violence wasn't this much before, but it gets definitely higher with time when not curbed.

You're wrong. violence wasn't much in those days. we even made violence more by manufacturing weapons. violence may be inherent in humans but not all humans welcome violence. less than 30 decades ago, people travel even at night without fear of being killed or robbed off their possessions, but that's not the case now. violence will continue to grow if we don't inspire each other to HEAL THE WORLD. the main thing is inspiring the next guy down the line and he too inspires his people.

WE ARE THE WORLD signifies that those who live in the world are the main thing when change comes. talking of healing the world, it's about the people not the trees or stones. when you said healing the world means you wanna solve all the world's problem, you forgot to say that you can not eradicate the problems fully. it can only be reduced to the bearest minimum. like you said, celebrities who sing about this have got hidden agenda! i don't know of the celebrity you're talking about but as they say, ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS/VOICE. Michael Jackson did not only sing about the poor people, he also has a HEAL THE WORLD foundation. MJ is a true epitome of a humanitarian, an activist and a person who put smiles on the faces of people around and far from him. so the world should not be seen as a problematic place. it's somewhere created by God not to be bad but to be good. humans made it this way, we can change it to be better with the help of God.

The world environment,nature,is as one with the people,we survive together in this place,we can help mnature in many ways by our actions,and of course nature helps us to survive,and gives us quality of life.
Celebrities are a different matter,i tend to think that they are,in the main,looking after self interest,they seem to like the publicity when doing good deeds for Africa and the like.Some may be genuine,like Bob Geldoff many years ago,but i have a suspicious nature,so it it's all a matter of opinion.

well people who put themselves up as world healers have been around since the beginning of time,and good luck to them.The bottom line is that this world will always have problems that the everyday man cannot solve,however how much he may try.It is inherent in man to good,but also to be evil,mainly because of self interest.In this respect i say that it is an ongoing task that will never be resolved because of man himself is basically a greedy person, with self interest as the root of it.

Ahmad, I know and i said the duo are important in getting man to paradise but the most important is the good deed. If someone worships God but is always a bad person, there's no point then. Kyle, you said minorities of the world are violent. Majorities now has the largest in numbers, can't these majorities overpower the minorities and change them for good? The society is very important. When a child is born, he can't differentiate the good from the evil. the society goes a long way in this.

majorities do try to overpower the violent minorities,that is why we have police and armed forces.You cannot expect everyday people to go searching for evil drug dealers or violent criminals,they do not have the means or the know how.when a child is born it is the responsibility of the parents to guide the child in the right direction,not society.

A society is composed of the home too Kyle. By the way, when parents guide their children and lay good example for them the child also learns from the society like churches, mosques, school and social groups. The child is sure to be evil if that child is in an evil society. The parents advice and guide, they do not follow the child about. Majorities will one day become minorities until that change comes. Violence wasn't this much but it's on a daily increase despite the police. Even some of the police indulge in evil things as well. that's to say majorities are reducing. Now is the time. it would just be too difficult if the evil minorities become majorities. No man will be secured or safe from the evil.

well i do not always take the opposite view,i give an alternative opinion for others to consider,or not as the case may be.What i am saying is that a child should be given guidance by the parents until he/she is old enough to form an opinion of there own.If the police are unlawful,then i would not hold out much hope for society to improve in any drastic way.
