This law has been suggested by some Death with Dignity people here as well....

I'm not happy with it.

Had a quick look at the positive comments to this new law & was struck by the use of word "dignity". It is, as if you have a disease that's makes you very ill, you have no dignity anymore? Where does that idea come from? I've no problem with understanding that people want to get away from the pain. But I don't get it how one mix this whole thing with the idea of dignity

That is a good question Lilua. It doesn't seem to fit at all.
How can there be any dignity in killing yourself? :confused:
