Today I am going to write something about software development.. It just came to me when I was programming on my school project http://smeerkaas.com

I've noticed that creating a application isn't that difficult

or example when you want to create a application where users can upload a picture and post a comment. Sounds not that difficult, you could make such an application in just under 2 hours. You the programmer test the application and it all works fine.. You can now go and drink lots of beer with your friends But wait there comes a pesky user.. He is going to tear your application apart by uploading the wrong file-type or he has JavaScript disabled.. AAAAAH!! He even manages to crash his browser by uploading some weird amiga image file type.

The problem is the user.. Solution: every primary school needs to teach at least one programming language, so we won't have stupid users anymore!

If users didn't exist then Unix ruled the world.

There is another thing about programming that makes it difficult.. Have you ever heard of the theory that when you change one decision in a persons lifecycle, the events that happen after decision completely change? The same theory applies to programming.. Every time you change something in your program.. You have to test it all over again, just to be sure.. Luckly there is such a thing as a beta tester.. Nowadays people without any education have jobs like being a janitor,factory worker,being unemployed. In the future these people will be the betatesters!!

So thats what i have to say about programming today.. My next post will be in German.. Just for kicks!!
