Who is Eli Urbex?

I am an urban-explorer elephant originally from Serengeti, Africa. I was abducted at a young age by rapacious circus entertainers and smuggled to the United States. For 2 years I was forced to survive on peanuts and made to stand on small pales in front of large groups of people. At age 13 I escaped.
An outcast to society, I roam undetected in the wastelands of this country. I live in abandoned buildings and I hide away in the run down areas of society...I am Eli Urbex. I have vowed to take pictures of buildings that I have been inside of in hopes that I may one day show my people...if I ever make it home.

I think this is really a cool project taking photographs of all this places. How does it feel, being smuggled from your homeland to the U.S? And will you ever come back to Serengeti? And ... being an elephant, how did you even manage to get into these buildings??? Awesome!

Thank you! Please join the UE group I started. I really hope that I will make it home someday. It cost's a terrible amount of money just to fly someone my size anywhere. As for how I get into the buildings...elephant magic.

Just looked at all the photos. It IS a very cool project and the photos excellently taken. I take pictures of doors, yours are definately more interesting and certainly make me speculate on some of the stories behind them.

I love your pictures. I was wondering, since you are a member of the photography club, what exactly do we do over there. I contacted the moderator but he told me he doesn't have time for the club anymore. I was hoping to see a place to post new albums or something like that.

Any insight.

Yea the group doesn't seem very active...the best place to post an album of your work would be on your page. I'm not sure what all groups there are for general photography...I hope you will join the UE group though...
