Sometimes it is easy to get an idea about how fantastic a night will be and how much fun you and your friend are going to have. But instead of having fun you find yourself being the only one drinking cocktails when everyone else is drinking their beer and suddenly it just feels wrong. Not because there is anything wrong with beer but more that it feels wrong drinking cocktails on your own. And you are already tired from a long day at work and the bar is too full of people and too hot and loud. And then some strange, scary person starts talking to your friend and you try to interupt but it does not help and you find yourself listening to some even stranger person talking about how he sold a car to Wayne Rooney's brother and all you want to do is to ask why he thinks you would ever find this interesting because you are not a ManU fan to start with and are not impressed by cars nor by football player's brothers. And you secretly think all car sales persons are unhonest and should be ashamed of themselves. And suddenly the alternatives seem to be to drink enormous amounts of cocktails, go home or do something else drastical. But then you remember that you and your friend had decided to have a great night out and you are finding the guy she is talking to more scary by the minute so don't want to leave her alone. But the bar does not really have a collection of cocktails and you would still be the only perosn drinking them so that alternative fails as well. So do something drastical is the remaining choice. So you get rid of the scary men and then you move somewhere else. But the cocktail mood is gone
