Well Nicki and I went to our first Salsa lesson this evening in an attempt to get fit!
The sessions are held at the football club in Hitchin. It was a little daunting to tell you the truth and similar to bring the new kids at school, but we soon realised we were not alone in being the newbies!
Everyone seemed really friendly andI feel like I learnt quite fast. We started in the beginners class and had to share partners so eveyone got a chance to dance.
Some of the moves we learnt were; The Mambo (forward and back), The Cucaracha (side to side), The turn, The body cross. You can see some pictures of these here somewhere.
