Just a quick update to anyone who's still here and cares

Well guys, it's been a while, hasn't it? My hiatus isn't over, I think, just making a quick pop up to give any old friends an update. I still love you guys.
Ok, well, I had my 18th birthday in March. That was pretty cool. My parents got me this epic Genius Pensketch tablet and I love it. It's great for digital art, and I've been getting a lot more immersed into that.
I got accepted to my dream college! What's more, I've gotten a scholarship that allows me practically a full ride! I only have to pay the $1500 freshmen gate fee and I'm set. It really surprised me that I got that scholarship, too, since (because of some faulty communication) I was two hours late for my interview and ended up crying. >.>;; Heh. But that's an entirely different story, right? ^^;;
My school had prom again, of course, and it was beyond awesome. Even better than last year. I went with a group of my best friends. I did have a date, but I broke it off with him, and thank GOD I did because he's super annoying. Nice, but he hugs me waaayyy too much and calls me "sexy" in a nasally, high-pitched voice. Anyways...
I got a hair cut! That's actually super-big news, considering I hadn't had mine cut for about three years. ^^; It was below my hips. Now it's about an inch below my shoulders. Good stuff.
My art teacher threw me into a MILLION art competitions and I actually won some! Even more good stuff, eh?
Mmmm, yeah, I think that's about all---- Oh right. Well there was one little matter of graduation, right?
Yeah, guys, I graduated high school last Friday, the 22nd of May. Woo. That was emotionally difficult, I'll tell you. Cried 7 times >.> It was great, though. It was BARELY sprinkling when us seniors were making our way to the football field, and we were scared we'd have to move the ceremony to the gym, but instead of pouring down on us, the sky gave us just enough moisture and sunlight that we actually got this amazing rainbow right over us. It lasted long enough for all us honor grads to get our diplomas before it faded away. That was pretty awesome...
So yeah... my high school days are over. It's hard to believe. Geez, how old was I when I first found my way onto Opera? 15? It's been a while. To all my old friends from way back when, I definitely still love you guys.
Ok, well, that's about all I can think of to update you on. I probably still won't be on opera very much, but if you guys just need me back in your lives, or want a more-current update, then check out my deviantArt page. I'm on there like... every day ^^;;
