In the 21st Century the internet has overtaken our lives in more ways than one. It is now seen as THE way to go, if you want to get your presence known, spreading the word and getting your ideals across to a wider audience than in the offline world.
Having a long term plan in place is important, building flexibility into that plan in response to change whether it be internal or external is also key, but requires consideration whether the change is right for you or your vision. Changes to any plan should not happen under you have a new plan to replace the previous one, it is always safe to have a back up plan. Monitoring of that plan is equally important, if something appears to not work, then adjust it and try again.
