My Opera9 days to fill an order?

I thought Amazon was bad for taking 5 days to fill an order and no updates...
Now kingston is taking 9 days to fill an order with no status updates. Another retailer permanently off my list.
A full 8 days after the order I call them to cancel. The CSR tries to spit out some incoherent schlock about the delay but complies immediately when I ask to cancel the purchase. Now I'm waitng 4 more days for newegg to deliver.
