My first week with the Imac

Unboxing is incredibly fast.
I've corrupted one external disk three or four times and I happen to be using it for Time Machine. The two firefire drives I've tried have had zero issues. My Cowon U3 has also been OK but I've decided to stay away from synctunes and go back to manually copying files to the device. I'm using my E51 to listen to podcasts more often than my old cowon now.
I'm trying to keep the diversity of my installs down.
I've compiled clamav and mplayer from a nightly build.
I wasted a few hours with Sun's virtualbox on Mac OS X as well. It does not support bridged interfaces like vmware fusion so I guess the big guys have nothing to worry about now. It's to bad. I was hoping to test it in production at work. I guess it's back to physical hardware.
