I have been impressed with this 300$ linux device until now.
We have 3 internal seagate 7200.10 drives which have been working fine with my macbook pro. All windows hosts on the LAN have slowed to a crawl today.
Simply turning on snapshots hangs the device and knocks all shares offline.
I upgraded to the newest firmware yesterday in a matter of minutes. Now the damn thing went from production to show stopper. It would be nice if the device would tell me something other than "system busy. Please wait" or warn me it's going to basically shut down for an extended time.
Total garbage.
