I love everything about
Opera (aww, come on, you gotta love this and ditch iexplorer!), but the one thing that I love the most is mouse gestures. Now I can't live without them!
Bad thing you cant use mouse gestures in Windows explorer... or Word, or MSN messenger, or Lotus notes, or...
Wait... You can! As long as you use StrokeIt (no porn jokes please)!
At little over 100kb (really small aint it?) this FREE piece of software packs a hell of functionality!
From
their website:
What is StrokeIt?
StrokeIt is an advanced mouse gesture recognition engine and command processor. What is a mouse gesture? Mouse gestures are simple symbols that you "draw" on your screen using your mouse. When you perform a mouse gesture that StrokeIt can recognize, it will perform the "action" associated with that gesture. In short, it's a nifty little program that lets you easily control programs by drawing symbols with your mouse.
What can it do?
StrokeIt can currently recognize more than 80 unique mouse gestures and can be easily trained to recognize many more. For each gesture recognized, StrokeIt can execute a user-defined set of commands within the active application. StrokeIt commands are defined within plugin libraries that can be easily created by third parties to do nearly anything.
Its kind of easy to customize, and the learn function to use weird lines as a mouse gesture works great.
Every time you "draw" a gesture you will be able to see a blue line marking your gesture, but if you don't like it, you can make it invisible. You can even have it running in background (no icon on tray bar) so you wont even notice its there until you use it!

My favorites:
Right click+Left click = Opens MyDocuments
Right click+move mouse to left = back
Right click+move mouse down then to right = close window
Right click+draw a N = open Lotus Notes
Right click+move mouse up = Ctrl+c
Right click+move mouse down = Ctrl+v
Right click+draw a zig-zag kinda line (i used the learn command for this one) = writes my lotus notes password and accepts... yeah i know... its not that secure, but im lazy...
Right click+move mouse to left then down = go to end of document in Word
Send me a msg if you can't figure out how to config any of this combos.
