Happy Office Pirates Copy / Paste Day To Everyone!

, , ,

Ok, so I liked this article, but i don't feel like writting... So i made up this new holliday, Office Pirates Copy/Paste Day... Ok, I know it's a lame excuse for my laziness, sue me. Oh, and dont worry officepirates, as much as i enjoy plagiarism, my moral sense of justice prevents me from not giving the appropiate credits... Damn, i need to find a good surgeon to extract the sense of justice out of me...

So here's the article Copy/Pasted as is, without mods directly from one of the coolest waste-my-time webpages on earth (we need more of this kind of pages, the world would be a better place, seriously).

Everything Made Easy Feed Your Laziness with Lunchclock

With the American Lunch Hour steadily shrinking towards the Lunch 15-Minutes, Office Pirates reader Ken K. emailed us this website which aims to win you back a few minutes: Lunchclock.com.

From the website's FAQ: Lunchclock uses a chrono-distortion algorithm to calculate how much to speed up or slow down the clock based on the details of your working day and your desired lunch period extension. If, for example, your lunch period is 12:00 until 13:00, and you set a lunch period extension of 1 hour, Lunchclock runs fast during the morning and reaches 12:00 when it is really 11:30. Lunchclock then runs slow and reaches 13:00 when it is really 13:30. Lunchclock then runs fast again until the end of your working day.

Listen, Lunchclock: As much as we want to cheat the workday, and as much as we like the phrase "chrono-distortion algorithm," don't you think it might become a bit obvious when the only times your computer displays a huge clock graphic are those days that you've gone out for a long lunch? THAT seems "highly suspicious."

Moreover, if your boss notices you've been gone for a while, which is he going to trust more: The clock on your computer that's been stuck on 12:22 for the last eight minutes, or the five-time-zone Bulova diver's watch on his wrist?

Well, guess that depends on the boss...

Oh, and also, check this cool game they found out... It's like a pretty neat cool RPG and it's quite popular too!

... you might want to check out this other game we've discovered. It’s thousands of years old and it’s from the Far East. In it, you’re the powerful king of a vast land whose every word is law. People will throw their lives away if you ask them to. You and your army, which includes knights, fanatical religious leaders, foot soldiers and even a warrior Queen, have to defend your country while conquering your attackers. It’s really tough to stop playing once you get started:

Sweet...
