I read blogs for a living

And I think I like it

my [dot] opera [dot] com or myopera [dot] com?

, ,

There are those fascinating moments in life when you for example is writing a text message, and you discover that your dictionary has learnt a new word bigeyes

My newest discovery is "somewhat" similar. Every morning I visit the frontpage of My Opera. A couple of days ago I was drinking coffee with my left hand and typing the web address with my right. I hit the Enter key and I noticed that I had forgotten to punch in the period in my dot opera dot com. I was on the edge of freaking out (error message, blue screen, shutdown and whatnot..) but hey! What happened? I got redirected to the frontpage.

You might give a damn about this, but I found it amusing since I'm answering a lot of support e-mails and telling people about My Opera, and I've (until now) always said "my dot opera dot com", but not anymore! Oh, the relief!

Oh well... back to work monkey

I've always thought that MyOpera addresses should be without the dot between "my" and "opera". myopera.com/<user> is easier to remember and spread smile

Indeed! I was thrilled when I made this major discovery.

My brother just found this yesterday, by accident. And myopera sounds a bit better than my.opera
