I read blogs for a living

Yeay! Finally back from four weeks of vacation. I've never been away so long before, at least not since I was in high school.

A lot of weird stuff has happened during my time off, and during Monday there will be pictures to prove it . Anyway, some highlights were:

• Fighting a chair on a boat (with half of my face covered in blood from a cut I got above my left eye)
• Reading three excellent novels (reviews incoming)
• Almost riding a (cliché) donkey
• Attending a rock festival where main ingredients were dry fish pounding and dark beer
• Missing My Opera
• Getting tanned
• Found a Spider-Man figure I could hug
• Hiring Oleg Melnychuck
• Get a huge phone bill

Stuff to do:

• Investigate downtime issues
• Produce community news
• Read 2500 emails

I'm having problems locating my firewire cable so I can upload pictures, but hopefully this will fixed when I return to work on Monday (got a lot of hardware stuff there).

Leaving for vacation is good, but coming home is also good. I hope you've had a great holiday as well.
