Scott, wait for a while before grabbing one of those. The software isn't stable yet, and the tariff has a few hidden limitations that you may not be able to track.
No problem. It's just that at the moment the software works in the same way a square wheel works. It gets you there but there are much easier ways to do it. For a first attempt though it's bloody excellent, gotta say that. They just need to refine it a little as it appears to have been made in modules with each module being given it's own way of carrying out commands.
their online demo was pretty enticing. i'm so glad you know about it. i can wait. i know nothing about phones. so if i get a new one, i want it to fly. i had a blackberry once and i hated it. also, i want to make sure that whatever i end up with will operate opera.
Well this one can only handle Opera Mini so far, and that's just a beta test. Of course my opinions on the software are just my opinions. I believe that all native applications should share a control system. Having most of them have different procedures for stuff like deleting items seems wasteful and kind of annoying. If you can get past that sort of thing then by all means get one as it's a great little phone and brings convergence to new heights.

I had opera mini on my former cell phone, and I loved that Opera mini properly displayed HTML.

i spent many years leaning to sail the big ship. my hp pavillion. but i don't have years to learn to tweak "phone computers". what i get has to be waaaay user friendly. or i'll just get the lightest wifi laptop.
i do appreciate your letting me 'pick your brain' but i'll stop with this last comment. except maybe to say thanks for the help.
