It's also been proved that more people will take the stairs if you adjust the elevators so it takes longer before they arrive.

I like elevators if I have to carry stuff to the 15th floor, but I don't like escalators. Especially the horizontal airport escalators! They are for lazy people.

I disagree - if you walk along them at normal pace, it gives you the feeling of superhuman speed. For that brief period of time, you are The Flash

As for elevators, I think the "close door" button in most of them isn't even hooked up.

Stairs are very difficult for me. (health reasons) After ten stairs my heart would be racing. I hate the enclosed feeling of an elevator so I would take the escalator.

Those are awesome stairs though, and I'd be tempted to try to climb them!
