But Aliens vs. Predator, Nocturne and Outcast were also great games.

Especially Nocturne scared the hell out of me when I was young.
But it wasn't as scary as Resident Evil 1 back in the days

The boxes weigh a ton. It's filled with manuals, stickers and whatnot. It's a big difference from today where you get a plastic cover with a disc.

That's true, I still got a lot of them at home.
With today's games, you are lucky if they put a small card with the controls inside the DVD case. That's really disappointing.

I hate that!
That's one of the reasons, why I haven't bought Mafia II yet.
I am waiting for a complete edition with all of the DLC's included.

Even I remember when game boxes looked like that without being two-hundred-USD overpriced "Limited Edition" versions.

I even dare to say I miss it.

Here int he the US I wonder if they could be illegal since some of these place make it impossible to get with out diving for over an hour or over 100 miles jsut to get a pre order for some DLC, pretty much means if you don't live near a big box game store your screwed

Here in parts of Colorado you would have to drive for over 3 hours just to get to the nearest gamestop
