It was a gang of renegade members shooting nukes at Opera Towers as revenge for not being nominated in the awards competition/cut in version 2 of it/not being able to tell people exactly how many nominations they'd had in a certain category.

Last July I went out to see our local town fireworks with my five kids in tow,
It wasn't big, but we all had a lot of fun.

Living in a small town, everyone knows everyone, and so it's a great deal more fun than attending big city fireworks, even if the show isn't as spectacular.

Espen it's hard to get a decent shot of fireworks. Your picture is better than any I've gotten so far.

fireworks are not allowed to be sold in New York State,
for the 4th of July we always make sure to travel to our country house in Pennsylvania:love:
there they sell fireworks by the side of the street...
Kids always love the fireworks,
I am sure you kids will keep this memory for the rest of their life

I was there too, making double chocolate muffins for the kids.

It will probably be a snow day here tommorow, and the kidlets are over excited because of the possibility of no school!

I love snow days myslef, as it means I can sleep in a little longer!!!

This is not an Opera browser problem, but it looks like you may have tried to upload pictures and visited your page during downtime? Try again, but make sure you're not looking at a cached version of the site (clear your history, etc.).

In 1979 the manufacture and importing of fireworks was banned in South Africa. In 1994, this 'apartheid' law was scrapped. The result, utter pandemonium from 1 November till 31 January. Things have gotten a tad quieter what with the global recession and all but for a few years we had chaos.
